Overview

Ecopare’s Lean Energy Management solution help you to quickly understand where energy is being used on the shop floor. With continuous measurement of energy right down to individual machines or motors we can indentify Areas of Opportunity to reduce energy waste.

The solution is made up of 3 layers:

  • the hardware layer to gather energy data and pass it to our servers,
  • the software layer that includes a data store and the analytical engine to transform the data into knowledge, and
  • the services layer that provides expert interpretation into what the knowledge means to our clients.

Electricity

Our hardware can measure electricity consumption for both single and three-phase feeds. We can measure from as little as 15A up to 600A per phase at multiple voltage levels. For the majority of our installations we do not require power to be shut down making the solution ideal for 24x7 operations.

Gas

Using the latest technology in pulse or image recognition meters we can capture consumption data down at equipment level. This means that we can rapidly identify areas of opportunity to reduce energy costs for equipment such as boilers, heaters, furnaces or heat treatment plants.

Water

By attaching flow meters or pulse meters to various points on the site Ecopare can provide a detailed view of where water is being consumed.

Options

Fully Managed Leased Solution

This option is the most popular as it provides manufacturers with the ability to capture a 12 week energy profile across their shop floor.

This is usually configured to measure the top 15 energy users for example air compressors, CNC machines, heat treatment plants or chillers.

Ecopare provides this option on an all inclusive fixed price delivery which includes:

  • Installation
  • The hardware for measuring one facility and up to 15 three phase machines
  • Access to the data-store and analytical engine
  • Monthly reporting and round table discussions to help you understand the information

This option is also available as a purchased solution for those manufacturers who want to own the solution out right.

Bespoke configured solution

This option is recommended for clients who wish to manage the project on their own or wish to run a continuous energy optimisation programme over a long term.

Ecopare will provide a no obligation technical survey to ensure that the right hardware and networking protocols are specified for the site.

Clients also have the choice of either a desktop version of the analysis engine or to use our web-based version to provide energy reporting.
